Wilde & Roare specialize in beautiful, handcrafted products based on three magical sources:

Honey  -  Herbs  -  Goatsmilk

Our goats, who roam wild in our farm pastures at Swellendam, help us to produce our beautiful organic cheeses.  We have a delicious range of Swellendam honeys and we use fragrant herbs in selected products across the range.

Our symbol represents this wonderful meeting of goats, bees and herbs within the circle of life.

After operating with organic and natural farming practices for some years, Wilde & Roare have now begun the process of formal organic certification.

Wilde & Roare are working at bringing you more new products this year, and adding to the wonderful ingredients we already use – cranberry, grappa & nut, olive, apricot & brandy and the ‘to die for’ chocolate, grappa & nut!

Wilde & Roare have invested in technology as well as people. We want to produce a consistent product for our customers and to continue to maintain our high standards of safety, hygiene and herd management.

Wilde & Roare subscribe to the principles of, and are investors in, Humane and Compassionate Farming.

Wilde & Roare’s philosophy is to produce beautiful cheese in a sustainable environment and provide our animals with a life worth living.

Wilde & Roare are also working on our plans to invest more in rural development with communities that need our help.
